These terms apply to the models you purchase and run yourself, and the private keys used to download them.

1. Definitions
"Software" means the CautionLabs model container images, the model weights and code inside them, and any upgrades to them that CautionLabs provides.
"API Keys" means the private keys CautionLabs issues to your account. A private key is the password for the CautionLabs registry, from which the Software is downloaded.
"You" means the person or organization that purchased a license to a model.
2. License
After you pay the license fee for a model, CautionLabs grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and run that model on infrastructure you own or control, on any number of machines, to moderate content for your own products and services.
Infrastructure you control includes virtual machines and GPU containers that you rent from a cloud or GPU provider, in your own account, for your own use.
The license covers the model you purchased and upgrades to that model. Other models are licensed separately.
3. Restrictions
You may not, for commercial purposes or otherwise:
- distribute, sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, publish, or otherwise make the Software, or any copy of it, available to anyone outside your organization;
- share, sell, publish, or transfer your API Keys to anyone outside your organization, or use them to download the Software on behalf of a third party;
- extract the model weights from the Software, or reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except where the law does not allow this restriction;
- remove or alter this license or any copyright notice in the Software.
Distributing the Software or its API Keys in breach of this section is a violation of this license and an infringement of CautionLabs' copyright.
4. API Keys
You are responsible for keeping your API Keys secret and for all use of them. CautionLabs checks your key and your license each time the Software is downloaded, and deleting a key stops further downloads with it. If a key is exposed, delete it from your dashboard and create a new one.
5. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. CautionLabs keeps all rights in the Software that this license does not expressly grant to you.
6. Termination
This license ends automatically if you breach it or if your purchase is refunded. When it ends, you must stop using the Software and delete every copy of it. CautionLabs may also revoke your API Keys.
7. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It is an automated classifier and will make mistakes, including missing content it should flag and flagging content it should not. You are responsible for how you act on its results.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, CautionLabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Software, and its total liability is limited to the license fee you paid.
